FAQs

Imperfections - What Can I expect?

Every single pot is crafted by hand with love and care. Unlike your typical mass-produced pots from a big-box store, our pots are unique and full of character. So, if you're on the hunt for a flawless, factory-perfect pot, you're in the wrong place!

Let's talk about the delightful quirks you can expect from your very own Pot Head. Each pot may feature its own tiny air bubbles, a teeny, little crack, or a charmingly bumpy texture. Plus, all our paints and hand-mixed, and colours may vary slightly from what you see on our site.

When it comes to creating Al's Pot Heads, I truly believe that imperfection is beauty, and I take pride in the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of each one. No two pots are alike, which means your pot is entirely personal and special to you - the only one of its kind in the world!

I stand behind the quality of every single Pot Head we create, and promise I’d never send out a pot that I wouldn't be smitten with. So, rest assured that your Pot Head will be the perfect addition to your home, imperfections, and all.

How do I care for my Pot Head?

To keep your Pot Head living a long and healthy life, there are a few rules you should follow. Number one, use a plastic nursery pot to place plants in your Pot Head. Secondly, Keep your pot head indoors year-round. If you want to clean it, use a damp cloth, and wipe it gently. Most importantly, handle with care. Your Pot Head is breakable!

What are Pot Heads made of?

Up until recently, Al's Pot Heads have all been hand molded one by one, with air drying clay, painted, and then sealed with a water-resistant sealer. This process could take up to about 6-12 hours for only one pot. After 2 years of making Pot Heads this way, I have decided it's time to move forward, evolve my process, and speed things up!

I have been experimenting with silicone mold making and using various materials over the last 6 months, and I am thrilled to have relaunched the new and improved Pot Heads – now made with cement. This exciting change means that I can produce even more Pot Heads without sacrificing any of the unique charm and personality that makes them so special.

Can I exchange or refund my Pot Head?

Al's Pot Heads does not offer refunds on any items. Please ensure you have selected the correct items before making your purchase. Lots of love time and energy is put into making each Pot Head because they are hand-made and each one is unique. Photos of all the Pot Heads angle are uploaded to the website so that you can be confident about your purchase and in the quality of your new little friend.
